1. Who we are

Menu Muse ("we", "us") operates the Menu Muse service, an online studio that helps small businesses create social media campaigns with posters, an animated presenter, background music and short videos. Menu Muse is based in France. By creating an account or using the service you are contracting with Menu Muse.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or continuing to use the service you agree to these Terms. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it; if you are an individual, you confirm you are of legal age.

3. Your account

Keep your credentials confidential, provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Subscription and payments

Menu Muse is sold as a monthly subscription (€175 or the local-currency equivalent) that renews automatically until cancelled, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of videos and music tracks that resets at renewal; unused allowance does not carry over. If you cancel, access continues until the end of the paid period. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, including: unlawful use; fraud or spam; infringing anyone's intellectual property; creating deceptive deepfakes, hateful, harassing, sexual or violent content; uploading malware; probing, scraping or interfering with security; attempting to jailbreak or circumvent safety filters or technical limits; reverse engineering; or reselling the service.

6. AI-generated content

You are responsible for your prompts, uploads and how you use outputs, and you must hold the rights to any content you upload. Outputs are generated by AI and may be inaccurate — including misspelled text or altered details — so review every poster, script, music track and video before publishing. Outputs are not professional advice. Subject to these Terms and the rights of third parties, you may use outputs for your business marketing. Rights-holders can report infringing content to us and we will remove it; repeated infringement leads to account termination. We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts to keep the service safe.

7. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of the service, including its software, animated presenter, design, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content solely to provide the service.

8. Service level

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When your account ends we delete your content within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.

11. General

These Terms are governed by French law and the courts of France have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. Questions: contact us through the support details in the app.
